Trust Banks
Trust banks conduct both banking business and trust business, and have the trade name "trust bank."
Historical factors require under the Banking Act that trust banks also conduct trust business in accordance with the Act on Engagement in Trust Business by a Financial Institution (the Concurrent Business Act). In addition to performing all banking business approved for banks, they can conduct all trust business. Certain trust banks focus on specialist areas because of market size and profitability.
