Securities trusts

Securities trusts have securities as the trust property when the trust is underwritten. Securities trusts include "securities operation trusts" for generating profits through securities lending (repo transactions) depending on the settlor's purpose and "managed securities trusts" for managing the interest, dividends, and redemptions of securities, to pay for new shares and to perform other management tasks.
Recently, apart from employee retirement benefit trusts, securities trusts are used for various plans, such as stock options, which give company directors and employees rights to purchase shares at pre-determined prices.
